Sentinel was created to capture the quiet intelligence, resilience, and mystery of the crow. Crows are often misunderstood; historically, they have been perceived negatively due to their appearance, association with negative symbolism, and noise. Over time, we have realized the resilience, compassion, and ingenuity that these animals possess. In comparison, I see how people with disabilities are incredibly resilient in their abilities to overcome negative perceptions and daily challenges. Like the crow, people with disabilities possess gifts that are often misunderstood by society.
